I encountered this ancient pokemon art the most frustrating of shrines. It rose into the air once it saw me, and it started to let out a series of quick "bongs" that sounded as it it were laughing as it saw the realization on my face as I read the inscription on its pedestal. Pranked by a Bronzong... I never thought that would happen😩#437 Bronzong
In ancient times, it was believed that Bronzong was a messenger for the gods of rain and harvest. As such, ancient peoples would pray to Bronzong for bountiful harvest, or if in a drought, make offerings and pray for rain. If the offerings were accepted, Bronzong would ring, and portals thought to be from the heavens would open above the crops, bringing rain.
It has since been discovered that the portals Bronzong would open up were a result of their psychic power to bring the reason in from afar.
