A sketch I commissioned from SqueakyE (ehrola.tumblr.com) depicting characters from my story 'What We Learned at Rokudai.' Left to right: Coral Kesuk, Jane Fitzpatrick, and Ethel Roh.
Jane and Ethel aren't on good terms, since Ethel's a courier for the gang that rivals Jane's old crowd. Ethel will probably end up directly involved if not responsible for CJ's death, which would mean she'll replace the gap that was once filled by SRU's 'Combustion Man' regarding Jane and Coral's character development. It’s through their struggles with the gang Ethel is in that Jane and Coral fall for each other.
So this sketch depicts a scene from a far ways into the story.
