I said with a tired smile creeping across my face.
"To live is to feel,
"And we can't conceal the wounds left behind,
"All we can do is try to heal."
"So you'd rather give life the pleasure of killing you
"Rather than stopping the pain on your own."
She said almost matter-of-factly.
"You misunderstand my statement,"
I said with a hand gesture and a smirk.
"You can't cheat life by dying,
"You just cheat yourself of the possibilities
"Of the infinite choices you can make
"And where they will lead you.
"I am Agony's Son, my dear,
"Living life until I die.
"I don't know how to give up on myself, or anyone else,
"And I don't know how not to try to get back up on my feet
"After I have been knocked down.
