Hm, its hard for me to understand completely.
The neck seems like a vital part, almost wooden or corpse-like. The hair is what trails me off, I can't really see what's happening to it, the red seems connected to the much shorter brown hair. Its hard to make out.
However, the shading is beautiful, the eyes spectacular, and the background magnificent.

She actually has very long hair but i wanted to give the painting a more dramatic feel so I faded the hair into the background,I elongated the neck and relinquished the shoulders. I wanted the face,the expression to really stand out.
Anyways, i am glad you like it.
