Absolutely great! I just started playing around/trying to self-teach Maya ... I hope to be able to make things like this and your red skull/hellboy/etc one day

that is so coolwhat program(s) did you use to model this?and did u use a reference pic?looks really pro except the snow is a bit chunky but i still love itif it was in a higher res it would be my desktop background

Wow thanks a lot haha well actually its a church in my city (quebec) but actually it was a low poly model...it as like 5500 polys for everything the snow was made in after effects and the background is a photo montage So in fact this could be used even for an iphone environment haha ...that's a reason i'm quite proud of it... its low poly aaaw and by the way there are about 8 textures ...brick resolution is 512x 512 windows 256 x 256 roof 512 x 512 snow 256 z 256 other builings 512 by 512 anddd hmmm other stuff haha anyways many many thanks for you support it's appreciated

And by the way I use maya mostly...but this one was made on 3ds max...I just felt like doing a work on this software so I juste Learned it haha ... but well THE BEEEST thing is a combination of a lot of software..actually I modeled in 3ds max textured in 3ds max exported the whole thing Renders are done in mental ray in maya , background in photoshop snow and montage AE .Dunno if it answer a bit ?

OOOOOH sorry lol I tought you were asking for hellboy XD hmm well just add me on msn cuz ...i dont have any tutorials for this ...actually I modeled the church in about a day its really low poly plus the texture..well I could have a few tips to create your own and than after effect ...well its only a background I created in photoshop and added the snow plus the back in after effects !

actually one of my teachers just helped me a lot but hmmm maybe you could go on zbrushcentral.com a lot of people put their workflow in there...also on youtube! but I haven't used a lot of tutorials [link] used this for the ear modeling plus zbrush hmmm this tutorial [link] it seems pretty good to help ya start the human torso and also this one for the head [link] Make sure when you model the neck you have the same amount of edges on the torso (easier to plug ) and also hmmm well same thing for the arms and legs... for the arms just use a cylinder give it a base shape, plug it to the torso and then, ZBRUSH same thing for the legs and hands oh by the way, for the hands I just start from top view in maya model the base of the hand and then extrude to give it height anyways in_flames_rules@hotmail.com it's easier on msn or by email than on DA take care
