I think this is the best of the series. The pose, the setting, the IR tones... all excellent

The effect really is lovely, gives it a surrealness which to me goes wonderfully with the sense of poignancy that comes to mind.

I love IR. How do you do it? Lense? Filter? Post edit?

Love the IR effect. It really adds a bit of mystery to it. Fantastic.

I like the pose, lighting, and it's a beautiful location. The fence line draws the eye right up to the model, which is great. The only thing I don't like is how dark the sky is. I think if the sky were a lighter tone, it would be almost perfect. I like the IR effect. Though the background folliage does look unreal, I don't think it's distracting, only if you're really looking at it closely.

The composition's great, but the strong texture of those fenceposts behind her take over the picture too much, so the main focus is taken away from her. I like how it goes from dark sky to light grass with the midtones in the trees.

Nice composition...the only thing that looks a bit strange it's the folliage in the background...don't know why but it seems "unrealistic"...
I'm wondering...the black sky was made with an orange/red filter on camera or postproduction? (hope you don't mind if i ask you)

i'm sure this model is happy as can be...all the submissions of her are just insane and i like this one because of the great perspective of the fence...but why did you make the sky black??? it dulls the picture a bit

I was going to ask if this was the IR effect you described to me a while ago.

looks good. Although I think the blurred fence as it goes down is slightly annoying to look at.

detail24 In reply to PaulDavis [2008-07-02 19:37:20 +0000 UTC]

well thats because of the focal length/aperture, cant fix that when using those adjustments.
