I do really like this shot, but I'm not to sure why. Regardless, I feel that it could use some more dark values. I like the trail in the grass that leads up to the tree. It really draws you in to the photo...that may be why it's so appealing to me. The trail doesn't draw to much attention to itself (and take away from the tree and the man), but it does draw me in to the scene.
