Here is my first completed Christmas gift.

This is for

Since she's a big fan of Cars especially with Cars 3, I decided to draw one of the new characters as a human. I chose to do Cruz Ramierez, who is Lightning's training coach, but later a friend to Lightning after a whole adventure with him. She became my favorite character due to her quirkiness, intelligence and determination to not give up on Lightning throughout the entire movie.

So, when thinking of her name, I thought she'd be Hispanic since Ramierez is a Hispanic surname. So, I decided to draw her in her racing uniform and as such, I drew her having short raven hair and light tan skin and gave her eyes. What also makes this ironic is that Cars 3 came out in the same year as another PIXAR movie, Coco which has Mexican characters.

It wasn't easy doing her though since I never drew a Cars character before, but I thought it came out great. Anyways, hope you like it.
