Description This is my first deviation of 2022. Can't believe that's already 2022, it's safe to say that after 25 seasons, Arthur, the show I've grown up with is finally ending. Am I said to see it go? Yes...and no. Arthur has so many good episodes in the earlier seasons and it's not hard for me to rewant to watch this show again even after I am too old for PBS Kids. because this is the year that Arthur is ending after 25 seasons, I wanted to post up my faovrite episode

1. When Carl Met George-As already in my last meme, I have a lot of time relating to this episode as someone who has autism. I personally can understand where both George and Carl are from considering that George wants to befriend Carl, but can't understand Carl's Asperger's Syndrome whereas Carl wants to be friends with George's friend, but he feels different around other people. However, thanks to Arthur, Buster, Brain and Francine, they are able to explain Carl's condition to George in order to help him befriend Carl. This not only forms a great friendship with compromise and understanding, but it's a great way to teach kids and adults about Asperger's Syndrome or autism in general without it being too preachy and not sugarcoating it much eitehr. 'I'm proud of them.

2. Bleep-Ah, yes, the second episode is also the most controversal episode in the series. So, before I started cursing up a storm, I was warned not to curse, especially at a young age. Luckily for me, I didn't start swearing until I got older and had a lot of fun doing so. So, DW overhears a teenage boy arguing with his mom which leads to him cursing a word in front of her which makes her drop her item. DW, being four, doesn't understand what thhe word means, so she asks the Tibbles. They believe that if anybody says the word, the adult would do ask they ask like a servant. However, DW learns the hard way: one angry curse at her mom while spying on Vicita(after telling her the word) and DW is not only scolded, but also given a strong lecture. While  some call the episode wasn't as good, or at least a mixed bag. I personally find it to be one of the funniest episodes with a moral purpose on not to expose children younger than 14 to bad words until they are old enough to understand waht they mean.

3. Locked in the Library-Before Arnold/Helga and Lincoln/Ronnie Anne, Francine/Arthur were that "nice guy/bully with a crush" type of romance. And this is one of htose episodes that shipped them like crazy. After a fight, Arthur hopes not to work with Francine for a while. Unfortunately, Mr. Ratburn paired them up for a book report together. The two of them begrudgedly go to the library, but find themselves staying overnight by accident. With the library closed until Monday and no signal to call their families, will they put aside their differences? This episode has one of those best concept in my life and I like those types of stories. It's jsut a fun episode overall.

4. Double Dare-It's a good thing this show took place in the 1990s(before the guys decided to upgrade the timeline with the more episodes they produced) because in reali life this tatic wouldn't work in the modern era. Withh us having Iphones and streaming services, it would've bought those kids some time. Still, I love a good "hooky" episode. Francine double dares the boys to skip school the next day so they don't have to confess to Mr.Ratburn that they didn't do their homework the night before. Following a nightmare, the boys back out of the dare and get to school, but Francine ignores theh message from them (due to havinig her headphones on) and finds herself with no way into the building, leaving the kids to ditch class to try to get Francine back into school. Again, the whole mess could've been avoided if they recorded the television program in the first place, but then again, I love a good hooky episode.

5. Binky Goes Nuts-Out of the friends of Arthur who got the most character development, I think Binky would have to be on par with Buster. In this episode, Buster gets an allergic reaction from a butterfly and goes to the doctor with his mom to see if it's the case. Good news: he's not allergic to butterflies, tree pollen or pet hair. Bad news: he finds out he's allergic to peanuts. Even worse, while his mom is worried and smothering him, he can't eat anything that's may have peanut oil in it, not even his favorite Chinese eggrolls. But after a dream about Bionic Bunny saving him from a peanut villain Dr. Legume, Binky begins ot realize that he's tougher than the allergy and is realizing his mom is only looking out for him. Luckily, they form a compromise when Binky finds a peanut-free Chinese resturant to continue thieir weekly Friday night. Personally, I like how it's personal to those who have allergies and it's a good lesson to know is that they're not alone when it comes to that shit.  However, don't let it affect your day to day life cause you let it know who's in charge.

6. My Fair Tommy-I know the Tibbles sucked, but htere are times where I felt the Tibbles had some redeeming qualities and therefore can be redeemed if the writers were allowed to do so. Enter this episode that had some proof about that theory being possible. After Timmy gets his brother Tommy in trouble, yet again, Tommy wants to no longer be punished and be a good boy. DW takes advantage of the situation by making a bet with Emily that if she can tame Tommy and pass him off as a good student in time for Student Open House, he'd be a good student and earn a cupcake. Thus training begins much to Timmy's anger. Granted, while the ending is predictable at best, it shows that sometimes you CAN find a way to redeem any of the Tibbles especially since honestly, Tommy was my favorite out of the two and I can see where he's coming from.

7. D.W. The Picky Eater-Parents, if you have a child who is a picky eater, do NOT spoil them. Always find a creative way to get them to try new food instead of putting up a fight. This was one of my favorite storeis that involved DW and I even used to have the computer game. DW, as puts it, is a picky eater. She will not eat ANYTHING that was placed in front of her, but spinach is the worst. After throwing a tantrum at a resturant because the salad  had spinach instead of lettuce, DW is banned from resturants. Unfortunately, Arthur wants to go to Once Upon a Resturant where he has to try and convince DW to try food before Grandma Thora's birthday. The dish she orders was delicious, but when she asks for the recipe....that's a twist. While it different from the book as the book was from DW's point of view, it's easier for us to understand her reasonings.  Other things are differnet, but I love how Arthur's friends were willing to help pitch in and try to help DW to like certain food.

8. Bitzi's Beau/Bitzi's Breakup-This is a double episode because not only do we get the relationship between Buster and his mom, but we also see how his time with her boyfriend has become. In the first segment Buster is a little worried when he finds out his mom is seeing someone and is worried on what he would look like, what his behavior is like, etc. Even worse, is would he tear him apart from his mom whom he has a strong bond with.  However, the day he meets Bitzi's boyfriend Harry, he finds that he is kind and friendly that he begins to aprove of the relationshp. In the final part of the "Harry/Bitzi" romance, Bitzi tells Buster that they're breaking up. Having seeing Harry as a father figure, Buster is understandably shocked. Taking some advice from Muffy's teen magazine, Buster tries to set up a "get back together date". Naturally, it doesn't work. Bitzi explains that the reason why is because theyr'e not ready for a full length relationship. However, Harry is stlll a part of Buster and Bitzi's life as a friend instead. I  see this episode as a great way to help kids get through a break up or a divorce and they have parents who went through a new paramour or two(whether said partner works out with parent or not).

9. The Last of Mary Moo Cow-Anybody of you pissed that your favorite television show got cancelled whether it's because the ending sucked or you just want to see more potential? WE've all been in that situation. In fact, some of us are still going for it right now with shows like Infinity Train and The Owl House being unfairly cancelled(more for the latter than the former). So, DW is obsessed with Mary Moo Cow. One day after Mary cancelled her appearence at the mall, DW is horrified to find out that the episode she watches....is the last episode of the show. Determined to keep her show going, DW organizes a petition to save the show(even coaxing Arthur to sign), but while the petition doesn't work, she ends up meeting the person who plays Mary Moo Cow: a stock newscaster named Patty Jones upon stumbling on her dressing room.

10. Arthur's Baby/D.W.'s Baby-These two are like two peas in a pod. You can't seperate them without the other because they're the same episode, but from different points of view. From Arthur's point of view, it's an adaptation of the book where Arthur is unsure of having a new baby in the family due to being mocked by his friends and is scared of what'll be like. However, he manages to burp Kate at the last minute and thus not only isn't mocked by his friends anymore, but has grown to love his new sister. Meanwhile in DW's point of view, DW is at first estatic to have Kate move into her room, but her incessant crying, inability to play with "big girl toys" and smelly diapers prove too much for her that she tries to get rid of Kate, but ultimately decides to runaway instead. Some convincing of sorts from Grandma Thora has DW realizing that she should be there for Kate no matter what.
