Description
When the BCPU got information about a particularly noisy garden party, Sergeant Lily went to deal with it. While this would normally below her, she is currently under scrutiny for using up too many chemical resources during her missions and needs all the easy jobs she can get to get on the leadership's good books again.

When Lily arrived at the residence, she discovered the garden party in full swing, with music, drinking, and a number of drunk and unruly guests. The noise was so loud that it could be heard from quite a way away. She first approaches casually to look for the party’s host, with the hope to solve talk this party away. After a bit of mingling with the other partygoers, she was pointed to the supposed man-in-charge, some blond-haired guy named Brad. Who was, much to Lily’s disappointment, severely intoxicated.

After a stern lecture by Lily, Brad promised to turn down the music and send the drunks home. Lily, not completely trusting his word, left but waited in her cart for the music to be actually turned down. But when after 20 minutes, nothing changed, and she realized Brad and his partygoers were not receptive to her words of reason and must be led by example.
So, after cursing herself for not going for this approach immediately, Lily began to put on her gas mask, tightening the straps until the mask fits snugly around her face. She put a few cans of sleeping gas in her pouch and moved back towards the party.

Gassing the whole party would be a bad idea, as the fumes could draft away and potentially affect the innocent neighbors. So Lily decided she should take down the key troublemakers one by one, starting with captain obnoxious himself, Brad. As she approached, some of the more sane guests saw an angry-looking lady wearing a gas mask and made the smart decision to get the hell out of Dodge and left the party. Lily quickly spotted Brad, Talking to some girl next to a hedge, probably hoping to get some privacy. Now, the loud music worked to Lily’s advantage as she approached Brad from behind.
Brad, confused by why the girl, who was totally into him, suddenly ran away, felt a rubbery hand grab him by his shoulder. With a swift yet strong motion Lily turned him around and wrapped her arm around his neck, leaving her other arm free.

“Hello again, Brad,” Lily said. “I notice you have some trouble finding the volume knob.”
Brad, startled by his sudden change in position, recognized the albeit muffled voice from earlier and knew he was in big trouble.
“Look, I am sorry, I haven’t gotten around to it yet. I will go do that now,” Brat stammered.
“Oh, don’t worry about that,” Lily said, doing her best to sound nice, “Since you made me come back here, you obviously need help understanding what being quiet is all about.”

“Wait, what?” Brad said, a hint of confusion in his voice, “Just let me go, and I will turn down the music, I promise.”

“No, no, no,” Lily dismissed, “I know the type of guy you are, Brad. You don’t listen at all and your promises are as good as worthless. You must be taught and lead by example and practice. Lucky for you, the BCPU is always happy to teach through examples. And I am more than happy to help you get some practice in being quiet.”
As she said this, she used her free hand to grab a small spray can from her pouch.

Brad, growing more afraid with each passing moment, began to plead. “Please let me go, I will turn down the music, I swear.” He was trying to free himself from Lily’s grasp, both with his words and with his strength, but both methods proved to be futile.
Lily, now aiming the spray can at Brad’s face, was trying to make him understand his situation. “Your entire neighborhood has been complaining, you need to…” Lily was cut off by Brad “No please, don’t” and as he was still trying to unwrap Lily’s arm from around his neck, Lily finally snapped.
”Oh, shut up,” She said as pressed down on the nozzle, spraying Brad’s face with pink soporific fumes, “If you had just listened the first time, you would have saved yourself the headache this stuff gives you.”
As she felt Brad lose his strength and begin to pass out, Lily tightened her grasp. “No no, you are not getting off easy, you are going to stay asleep for a long long time,” she said as she continued gassing him.

When the can ran out of gas, Lily dropped Brad’s limp body unceremoniously onto the ground. She couldn’t be bothered to look at him, as she moved to turn off the music herself, readying another spray can for anyone dumb enough to stand in her way.

This is the second artwork where I tried to imitate a greater artist (hence the maybe odd clothing choice), but I also tried something different for the background as you might see.
I feel like I went a little overboard with the shading of the shiny stuff, but it was a good learning opportunity.
The story was written after the drawing, which is why it may not fit exactly.
I normally write the story and make the art in tandem.
