After a skillful and acrobatic dodge in the previous picture, the March Patreon picture from shows Hula Girl really pressing her attack, and it seems she might well have her robotic rival on the ropes, but can she keep it there? .

This may well be one the fiercest pictures I’ve ever seen of Hula Girl, her angry expression, the strength of her legs, and positioning, the swaying of her hair, and of course that wide swing of her spear as it slices right through Mecha’s spear. The Paradise Defender clearly means business here, and it seems she can more than back it up. It seems to me that there are not that many pictures that really show off the super heroine side of her, but this is definitely one of them. Meanwhile her mechanized nemesis seems to be having quite abit of trouble dealing with her angry foe. The level of detail on Mecha Hula Girl never ceases to amaze me, from the joints and glowy bits, to the metallic sheen, all beautifully done. Her positioning, and the swaying of her hair, gives a great sense of her being knocked back by the force of Hula Girl’s attack, which really enhances the feeling of the force behind that. And of course that sweeping trail to show the swing of Hula Girl’s spear as it slices right through Mecha’s spear is just the icing on the cake for this picture, as is the tip of Mecha’s spear starting to fizzle and crumble, a very nice touch.
