This is my Japanese friend, Yuka
Photo is cropped, bordered and the filter 'diffuse glow' added to give it the uh... diffuse glow effect
oh yeah and some levels stuff done too.First portraits done with the EOS so still learning

Hmmm....ok, ok...helpful tips?
First when I looked at this I thought having Marilyn in the background was fun thing. But the more I look at it, I realize it's a little distracting. It's still fun, but a little distracting.
I would crop Marilyn out and black out the background. This will really draw attention in on her face. Which I think is needed since the makeup is so dramatic. She's got a great face and it would be nice to see it stand out more.
The pose? Awesome. It shows the angle of her jaw and can show off her eyes. Love the framing you did on this too. The effects are really, really nice.
