cute! mackie went to bed with my husband, peter. mackie is always really happy when it's bed time. we let him sleep in the bed and he lays between us all snuggled up. if i'm having a bad day or a lot of anxiety i hold him in my arms and many times we've both fallen asleep like that. every now and then he's still there when i wake up. he's very reluctant to get out of bed in the morning. lol!
congrats on your new son! that's wonderful. do you have any other children? is your life really crazy since you have such a young baby?
that's nice that alexander will grow up with florence. i really think everybody who has children should have a pet. i love animals so much! i used to volunteer at a rescue shelter and that's where i found mackie. kittens have such incredibly sharp claws! once when i was volunteering i was in a room with a bunch of kittens, playing with them and i ended up with three tiny kittens hanging from my hair! and some were climbing up my back! some of the other volunteers saw it and about died. i don't know what their deal was, but it was a pretty fun experience. i wish i had a pic of it!

Sounds like you had fun at the rescue centre!!! kittens are great! they'll climb, pounce on and play with anything!!!
Alex is my youngest son at 12 weeks, i also have Fergus who is 3 years and Oliver who is 5!!
They can be a handful at times but they are lovely as well!!! Alex is the easiest of the three at this age to look after, when fergus was born he spent 12 weeks crying constantly as he had an undiagnosed milk allergy! but once we'd had it diagnosed he went onto soya baby milk and was fine after that!
I was only 24 when oliver was born and i like the fact that when he is a twenty year old man, i'll only be 44 and his old man might even be able to keep up with him!!

hmm...that's actually a pretty good reason for wanting to breed. sorry, lol! i don't have any and never will. just not my forte. if you were royalty, you'd be very pleased for having 3 sons. i have no idea why that just popped into my head. have you heard of sharon kay penman? she writes quite accurate historical novels about the history of the conficts between england and wales. they're really good books. they're all huge, you know, starting a book like that--that really draws you in and then you just enjoy it so much you're pleased that it's really really long.
oh, i had that problem with milk. no fun! the shelter was fun, there was so much excitement during kitten season. so many people would come in wanting kittens. they got adopted very quickly!
