~JKRavensfield cosplaying as Yin, from "Darker than Black"!This is the costume I've been working on for awhile.
It's actually been done, but only now did she get to try it all on... and I'm really happy with the result!
There needs to be some tweaking, and those aren't the tights she'll actually be wearing... but I still really like how these photos came out, from the mini photoshoot we had.
I really think she makes a stunning Yin, and I hope you guys think so too!
Special thanks to ~Ryu-kun for helping me in the beginning stages of this costume; it was really helpful to just watch. It's the first time I've really attempted to do anything from scratch, so it was a learning experience.
I have another photo that I'll be uploading as a stand alone, that I really like... (And I know Ju likes that one too!) so be on the lookout for that.

Hello! I was wondering where you managed to find the shoes for this costume? Also, the wig. I've been looking everywhere for a decent Yin wig and so far..no luck.

The shoes were just from a good will.
The wig I got as two pieces... Basically I searched on ebay for a short wig and a ponytail clip. It was a little hard to match colors just from picture, but it worked out~

I think it needs to be tighter around the middle to elongate the appearance of your mid-section.

Well it's not me.
But no, we noticed that problem as well, and used her con badge to fold and pin the fabric in the back to make it look better.
