Something I've wanted to do for a while, and really picked up on when I found out about EQD's Applejack Appreciation day.I think this line, from the finale of season 4 of course, is probably one of my favorites from the entire series. It's just so BRUTAL.
I mean, I don't particularly like Discord - don't particularly hate him either, he has his moments - and his sudden but inevitable betrayal has been foreshadowed since literally the moment he became good. Still, though, even I had to feel bad for him after Tirek's even-more-inevitable betrayal.
And then Applejack, out of nowhere, throws his own betrayal line back at him.
It was just like... damn, Applejack. That was ice cold.

Applejack's dialogue was brutal, but oddly fitting. The circle of betrayal had come full circle, as it were.
