Celestia has discovered a meme on the internet. Luna does not seem amused by it.So, that Poke Shaming thing was pretty big there for a bit, might still be, don't know, but I figured, hey, why not ponies too? So this happened.

She didn't choose, but she still did. That's like saying the dingo didn't eat the baby, but it was hungry. Baby is dead either way! And we don't know Nightmare Moon even wanted to kill Celestia or just banish her to the sun or if Luna was under some sort of Possession by a foreign entity.

Well it looks like she wasn't actually planning on eternal night, but a eternal eclipse. Would have screwed up most of the planet if it just stayed that way all the time, but if they just circled the planet with the sun blocked by the moon there would have been enough light for crops to grow. Not well mind you, but they would grow.
