It was the (true) story story of Mayra Rosalez. She weighed nearly half a ton and (turned out, falsely) confessed to accidentally suffocating her nephew by rolling over on him. She beat the murder rap. Since then, she has gone through hospice, surgery and lost a tremendous amount of weight (she shed about 800lbs, and now weighs about 200). Β
