Description I have done much research in order to create an accurate and precise version of what the German cavalry type - Kürassiers, would have worn in the early months of WWI. This particular uniform is from the 3rd regiment, signified by the light blue trim on the torso.

Kürassiers in the German army are considered heavy cavalry units that can smash through enemy lines and break the formation of infantry. An easy way to describe them is “mounted shock troops.”

I do this to educate other people in the actual importance of cavalry in WWI not just in the early months of the war but actually the entire war. And yes, cavalry charges were still happening well after WWI, if anyone tries to tell you that this or that battle was the last cavalry charge are wrong. Do your own research, I found out about many WWI cavalry on cavalry charges just by looking at google images of artists’ renditions of those battles. You will realize that many historians are fakes and liars just by them saying that cavalry died out in the early days of WWI.
