Had a chance to ink my first Robyn Hood cover for Zenescope. Fantastic lineart by Mike Lilly....can be seen here www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi…This one was so much fun to do...wanted to share it here. I do make clean lines when I need too

Great work here! It looks like some of your shading is done with a thicker marker/pen. At what point do you find yourself switching between the sizes of markers/brushes/pens? I get stuck doing fine line work then going back and using the same pen to try and make some lines thicker.

Thanks! That's pretty much what I do as well...If I really want to get bold I will use a brush pen for added weight and texture, then go in and clean up with my pen.

Nice work on the motion blur. How'd you accomplish these lines. Freehand brush?

That's how Mike likes to pencil. So just gotta be patient...Used a ruler and curve templates as is he norm in most of my inks, coupled with my magical microns

Mikes motion lines are great. It's hard to tell on the low rez but it looks like you've managed to achieve a brush like softness with the microns. Nice work.
