My good friend managed to send me some very sick lines by a fantastic artist... Koi Turnbull.They rocked me when I saw them and put thor on the shelf tonight. Had to work this one tonight instead!
5 hours tonight... crowquill. Pentel brush. Crappy tech pens! I will invest in a better set for the future!
For all those looking, this is my very first full splash page with buildings! OMG....I loved every minute of it
Keep a watch out, I will have this back up for Hi-res DL later...

Yea, this is hot!! The only thing I'd say is to be a little bolder on the heavy parts of the line weights. where the shadow or weight of the character is you want to be BOLD with your line to come back into a thin line. IF you look at the figs you'll see that there isn't enough dramatic tension in the lines and I know the pencils do not exactly give you this but that's what a good embellisher does, he thinks FOR the penciller. These are things that as you get to know the penciler you sort of just 'feel' it. But everything else here is VERY cool and definitely has the movement that the pencils were trying to go for.

Me too! From what I have seen, that is Koi's special ability! Amazing buildings. I'm really surprised I pulled thru them in one sitting. Far from perfect....but making me happy
