Ahhh, but pipes are nothing like cigarettes, don't confuse the two. Pipe tobacco is far more pure and doesn't get the chemicals added like cigarettes. If you don't like smoking period, that's cool, but there's a definite difference between pipes and cigs I can go on, but I'll spare you

I assumed there's a difference Haha, now that I re-read my initial comment, there's some part missing between the two sentences...in my mind it was linked by something along the lines of "I don't know if I'd like the smell/taste of the tobacco, though maybe it reeks like cigarettes" but I somewhat didn't write that down, haha..
The main reason why I don't like smoking is actually the smell, because the guys around me seem to import their tobacco from fishy sources, and the stuff really reeks of burned old socks!

So, does pipe tobacco smell very different? Pipes are so unusual to me...everyone smokes cigarettes around here, some have a hookah session now and then, but I've never seen ANYONE with a pipe so I really can't tell! (I quite like hookah smoke, though)

Ahh! I gotcha! Pipe tobacco is far different. Most of them have a very pleasant fragrance. Some will have a less than desirable scent, but most are nice. There are a few different types of pipe tobacco and the best smelling are called 'aromatics'. Now, a pipe tobacco rarely 'tastes' as it smells while smoking it, but it is still enjoyable. With the ritual and technique, it is a very relaxing hobby, far more enjoyable than a cigarette
