This is how I've felt for most of my life. You feel/hear the Call of the Sea, as it's called.

You, my friend, are just like Haru in Free! just like a lot of us.
Some of us were born to swim. We were born to feel the water that encloses us. The water gives us a huge embrace as we swim around, yet it is understanding when we need to breathe. A couple were stranded while SCUBA diving and the sea was understanding why they wanted land. Their skin was so weak from her own power, water. She took a few days, but she managed to set them near a boater and they survived. In other words, as desperate as the water wants you and you want her, she and you have to know that sometimes we have to spend time apart, but it is all worth it once you reunite <3

I feel the same way but with the sky. I tortures me everyday that I can't just fly up into it and feel the rush. Every dream is the same, it keeps my dream of flying real. At least you can in someway still be with your beloved.

I grew up sailing with my parents, my family.
My family split up but I still go.
I sleep easier on the boat.Β
The smell and the feel of the ocean makes me feel comfortable and safe.
I awe in its power.
One day I want to give myself to it, the the creatures, to the waves, to the swell.
So I can give something back.
