I suggest you continue to hope, but dont get your hopes too high because that'll cause the fall to be greater and hurt more.
Try not to be too easily dissappointed aswell and try to be optomistic,
I'v found trying to keep this frame of mind has helped me alot,
maybe it'll do the same for you.

You can hate hope because well.. hoping for something just leaves you able to be hurt a lot easier.. in a sense. If you didn't still hope for better... you can't be hurt by how bad it is. If that makes sense.

Proboably because when you hope for something so badly, and it never happens, it hurts more int the end.
