its ok ST =[ everyone goes through a little of this. just try and be happy for your friend even if it hurts a little. but if its to much, talk to your friend about it. they will understand if they are really your friend =]

I hate how this could, even slightly- even with a minuscule of a chance- be me.

For some reason, this reminds me of a friend of mine...

I understand completely. Same thing happened to me and some days I would even hate my friend and wish they would break up. (then feel horribly guilty afterwards xD)
But I realised the two of them work so well together, and I love them both so I've slowly tried to stop liking him as much. It happens eventually.
This feelings don't make you a worse friend, quite the reverse. No one can help liking someone, and the fact that you're feeling guilty proves you value your friendship

I know the feeling.
I didn't even realise I liked her until my friend started, and I noticed I didn't want to lose her. Not that I could do sod-all about it.

This doesn't make you the worst friend in the world: you're just human. And yes, it does kill inside. But feeling like this doesn't make you a bad person.

Same thing happened to me; it gets better. They break up, and you get over him.

I had to endure being there on a group date with them on their 1month anniversary. It hurt so so so so so much.

But it does get better.

lol @ duct tape

Duct tape is like the force - it has a light side and a dark side and it binds the universe together...
