I know exactly how you feel. There was a boy I saw every time I bought a book at this book store whom I was dying to talk to, and one day I just did. Made up some story about looking for a book. I took a really bold chance and told him to call me if he wanted to hang out with me after work one day. He called me two days later and now we're very happily together.
Don't spend your life wondering what could have been. You'll sleep better knowing you tried.
