I needed someone like you a few years ago, ST. There are still some days when things get overwhelming, but I'm on my way towards the light. I'm going into the psychology field for this exact reason; I want to be there for people, so they can have what I didn't.

the world needs more people like you; maybe then there would be less of those who battle those feelings and themselves (myself included; I'm not dissing people with real problems).
I'm sorry that no one was there for you when you needed it the most; but ... oh even though i do not know you; I am so happy that you made it out - you give me hope, both for myself and all those who are constantly trying so desperately to find their way back to light.

You just explained me to a T. It sucks when you're surrounded by friends, but still feel alone. Or you sink deep enough where you push them away without even realizing it. Sometimes it seems like the only person who can help you is yourself. There may not be a white knight to save you, but once you make it through the worst of it, the only person you need is yourself. And after that, you see the light and friends can help you stay afloat.
My anxiety became so unbearable that I could barely make it through a whole day of school without going down to guidance one or two times. I eventually missed a day of school because I couldn't function. Trust me Secret teller 9408, as corny/cheesy as it sounds, the only way from the bottom is up as you have done. I am so glad you made it through and are trying to help others. =]

This. This a thousand times over. It's so amazing when you finally find the light (or at least learn to fight the darkness). I'm so proud of you, ST. Go, help the world. It makes that bitter darkness so worth going through, I think, just to be able to help someone in ways you never received.

I also have panic attacks, but only for some months, so it's nothing compared to that you must have been through. I'm glad you finally did it and I hope I'll do it, too
Anyway, I wish I had a friend like you. I have many great friends who support me and help me very much since I have panic attacks, but sometimes I still feel lonely, because none of them had ever had panic attacks, so they can't understand completely what I feel.
