This I understand. I used to get upset about the fact that no one is there to protect me. Then I came to the conclusion that it is my job to take care of people. I am a protector. Those of us who are strong are so because we can handle ourselves at our weakest, even when we don't want to. We sacrifice our needs for security in order to share the burdens of those who cannot do it alone. Our gift of strength is our curse. I could have written this
because sometimes the strength these people exhibit makes them seem like they can naturally hold themselves up alone, but in reality they are the people that need the protection most because they're the ones working three times as hard as everyone else by not only staying strong, but protecting others.
They may be amazing, but they're human even if they seem to have super human strength, and due to this humanity they need a chance to be like the rest of humanity.

Probably when you're seen as the strongest soul people don't even consider the fact that you mightactually need a shoulder to lean on yourself.
Try to make time for yourself. Take care of yourself at the same level you take care of others, and try to open up about your problems to them, that shall give them a hint
