I know it's very cliche but you can do anything that you set your mind to.
Most people laugh at the dreams of others because they have no real dreams of their own.
Maybe they are just jealous that they don't think they can do something as great as you.

I completly can relate to you.
I'll try so hard to make one dream come true & all I get fo it is how I should of done this or that because it wasn't worth it or because I'll never make it.
Don't worry! There are people that belive in you. I'm one of them!

Never, ever, EVER let some one turn you away from your dream.
My mom didn't have money to go to college and people told her she'd never be smart enough to a nurse. She didn't let that stop her though. She worked her butt off, saved money, went to college, made the dean's list and now works as a surgical nurse.
Whenever I felt like giving up on my dreams, she'd tell me, "do what you love, because you'll never be happy with anything less."

It could be because they're just afraid that your dreams are a little too far off and you might have difficulty achieving it...
OR...
...they're actually afraid you might be able to fulfill your dreams and live a perfect life... while they just sit around and wait for their dreams to come true.
