don't do anything if you are still scared, just wait for the right moment, that's my advice.

I think that the ST should take the time to think about this decision very careful and make sure it is definitely what they want and that they're ready for it. But telling them to wait until they're not scared? I'm fairly certain that everyone is scared and nervous their first time. Its a new experience, and a very vulnerable one at that. Being scared and nervous is a normal feeling.
