probably its just that u are such a caring person that u want to help people, but those people u want to help are so messed up that they would have tried to kill themselves anyway... and maybe they would have tried more times if u weren't there...
but just remember that the first person you gotta look after is urself!

If they're your friends, maybe you're one of the reasons they are still alive today. Think of it that way. Because even though they all have tried once, they (I'm assuming) aren't still trying or have stopped trying, whichever way I should phrase it. Maybe that's because of you. Maybe you saved their life without realizing it.
Of course, I feel like I could have written this, even though I wasn't friends with some of them when they did try.

Never ever think such a thing. Ever. Maybe you're drawn to them because you can somehow relate to them? I don't know the situation and I won't but you need to realize that someone trying to die is not your fault. Just like a divorce between parents or a couple of friends fighting or breaking up. You can't always think it's your fault otehrwise you'll end up driving yourself completely mad.
