One of the GREATEST villains of all time and one of the best workers ever. A shame he got his back broke. To see the moment just go to youtube and look up Rick Rude injury. It's SICK how his back got hurt. I miss him a LOT!

From his hair style, this looks like right before he joined D-Generation X. So late 1996, maybe?

Actually, I think it's from either 1990 or 1994. He had short hair in WWF for a while, then had short hair in WCW. If you look at the photos on this page ([link] ), about halfway down is a picture of Rude and Bobby Heenan, in which he has short hair. Then a few more pictures down the page, he has short hair in his WCW photos.
I'm fairly certain it's from his WCW run, based on the tights.
