You really shouldn't comment on something that way. I believe (along with everyone else) that only good spirits and constructive criticism should be included in a comment... if you have something mean to say... send me a note... at least everyone else won't have a chance to be mad at you, but since you posted this here... you just opened yourself up to some non-construstive criticism from your fellow deviants.
This type of commenting is one of the reasons that Jark took the Daily Dev away in the first place... please don't give him another reason to do that again.

hm. i won't say sweet. why? because, a simple diff clouds, then a patchwork filter, some hue adjustments, a pinch filter, circular gradient mask - with black bg - and ready you are. i can imagine this means something special to the staff here, but it could've been more special than this. and the high detail version looks like it's scaled bicubic - but you already explained that.

hmmm...
I don't have the software to resize it, but if you set it as a wallpaper, and then set the image settings to "centered"(win95) or "stretched"(win98 and above).. that will (should) fix it because it fits itself to your screen.
Also... the download is alot sharper... remember... the original was made at 800x600 so there will be a little distortion, but I don't think that it'll be noticable.

Hmm, im not really sure about this peice, its so "not-devart" that it really hits me.
(yes, the devart banner and same colors, i dont care)
Its not really what i normaly get when i look at a devart design. This is different, and somewhat... damn, cant think of anything good to say
But anyways, this is good, its different than most others, and that is very positive.

This is spiffy, endosage. Without sounding like a rude bastard, I don't think it needs the devART header at all.
The vortex is neat and the colour spread is spot on ( even if they're squares - geddit? =\ )
So my point is, what's the chance of a non-header version? It's still devART, how could it be anything else with those colours...

This piece is really cool. I like the background the best. Maybe if you shaprened it up some more I would download this, but right now, it hurts my eyes. Other than that, good job and congrats on the daily dev. Keep it up.

It looks great, but only in smaller size. The quality isn't that good in full screen preview. Did you take that logo from this site - I mean "print screen" or "save image as" etc.?
If you increase already perfect pixel+resolution combination, then the result will be not as good. I think it's very important in pixel art, that pixels and resolution will be walking side by side
