--Each month, we will focus our attention on one of our Deviant Universe members. This blog will help us get to know who our artists are, as they answer a series of questions about themselves. This month's DU artist spotlight is:

1) What is your name, age, and current residence?

I am Andrew D. Simpson, possessing the Will of D! Props to those who get that reference.
Though my profile says I am 26, I am actually 25! I made that profile when I was 17 and didn't want the mature filter on...
My current residence is in Newark, Delaware in the good ol' USA! Though my place of birth is Bath, England.

2) What do you do for a living?

I do several things. During the week I work with those with Autism, Down Syndrome and other handicaps as a volunteer. I work weekends as a Lowe's Employee. Currently, I spend alot of extra time working on a game to help me become a professional Video Game Developer.

3) How did you get into comics/art/writing?

I've always had ideas for stories. When I was younger, I'd discuss various Video Game and Story ideas with my younger brother, who is currently a lot more introverted than me.
I never really got into putting them in comic form until I came across 's Otherworld story by chance, which also led me to the DU.
Up until then, I'd only ever written my ideas, but DU required me to draw them. So I got the required stuff and got to work! The rest is history.

4) What do you like the most about the Deviant Universe?

Aside from the fact that it lets me get my ideas out and gets people to read them, my favorite thing has to be the people I've met online here! Some of the coolest artists I've gotten to personally Skype with! The list is long, but you guys know who you are!

5) Which DU Challenge did you enjoy the most in 2016 and why was it your favorite?

Party in Dororai. I had a lot of fun hosting it and seeing where people would take my idea for a challenge! Someday I may post a list of things I think might've happened that weren't shown, as well as what songs were played by the Dororan band!

6) How did you come up with your DA username and what does it mean?

At the time, I thought it would be cool to have a name like a mafia boss. Hence the "Don". The "Devious" part is because it was the most sinister sounding thing I could think of that began with D, for alliteration.
