While I'm not quite sure of the meaning behind it...(Am I not connecting something)?
It has this ficticious, surreal quality that is exuded from all of your work..in fact it is a shining example of it.
It has the effect of a strange dream that you know must mean something, but you're not sure what.

Abraxas the Gnostic god looks splendid depicted with this particular rooster head, I like how you often use light tones for dark subjects and there are several bizarre twists in this image that I enjoy, it looks fabulous, literally fabulous like a myth, it seems as if you subverted the christian nativity story with the baby... in the full version it looks like a baby and in the thumbnail it has an appearance of a chicken... or am I imagining things?

The diligent mother with a cock for a face looks over the little child with ambiguous windows looming nearby, defying gravity in the surreal world contained within your cranium.
Twisted, I think not, that looks just lime my auntie Annie as she stood in our west midlands cottage every morning.
Delightful colour, tones and hues, crafted beautifully and finely detailed.

Wonderful sense of humour in this piece! Reminds me a lot of early surrealist work. There is a great sense of disembodiment here that I think really makes this piece sucessful. Very dreamlike.
