Hey guys, been a little while since I did an upload....but I've been a bit busy with Uni and with slowly adding to that koi painting I started an age ago. Taking a long time, that one, but it's looking pretty good and is nearly done now, so that'll be up sometime soon (I hope XD).
Anyway, whilst taking a break from the painting I thought I'd challenge myself to do a front view of my avatar, as I hate doing front views of anything because I find them really difficult. Plus I wanted to do a bit of drawing to keep my skills up, as is usually the case with me...and this is the result ^^ Not as good as my dragon ones, but that's because I don't usually draw horses...and also because this is a combo of a horse and a dragon, which makes it even more difficult to get the proportions and shizz right. Still, though, it was fun to do, and I'm pretty please with how it looks.
Took about 2 hours to draw out and get just how I wanted it to look, and another hour and a half to add all the colour in. Was done with the usual Derwent pencils, both watercolour (used as normal pencils) and with the normal pencils.
