great drawing, it looks realistic. but I think you could do a bit more shadow on her neck, under her head. nice snake.

The reason I have not posted more is I never keep my drawings... Most of my friends, Ex's and so on have my orginals, and some I had not scanned in... I have a few digital and 3d pieces on the go at the moment though..

Wow, very detailed! Very nice too! I love how the eyes seem so empty but very creepy at the same time. And i dunno, but the snout kind of looks like it's sneering, it's a really good pic though!

Extremely realistic and nicely toned. You have great shading in this piece and the snake almost seems to jump out of the page with its neck jutting out like that. Great job!

Cool snake. I really like how you did the tongue. You can almost picture the movement of it. I'd keep drawing all the way down to the edge of the paper. Right now it's just a snake's head, which is a little funny lookin'. The other thing is, I'd use more detail in his eye. The rest of the drawing is very realistic, and it doesn't seem right to just have the eye be kind of a neutral area. There's not much going on in it, and the eyes are usually one of the first things you notice about an animal.

The reason Its only the head is because it was drawn on a4, and frankly I ran out of paper. The eye however was meant to remain blank and empty....I wanted to add a surreal element to the snake...and almost other-worldy edge. A blank empty eye, not looking at anything...yet looking at everything....
Heh maybe I am wrong....I tend to focus on eyes quite alot in most of my art, so a certainly see where you are coming from....
