Are you familiar with the ambient drone music of Tim Hecker? The album Ravedeath, 1972 really fits with pictures such as this. I'd recommend checking it out

you keep your camera in your car - wait for a stop light or pause to frame it up - and then start shooting as you drive

I like it... When I was a kid and traveling, sometimes I'd lie down on the seat and watch the lines going past. I imagined them as ropes pulling me along. This stormy mood is very well captured.
