Description Well, I guess I can finally post this since Marvel just put it up on the 'net.

It was a fun cover to do. When they told me about one of the stories having the title 'Maltese Bunny" I immediately jumped on that as a source for the cover. The bubbles coming outta his gun were an after thought because they wanted more art to show what was going to be on the inside. Which turned out to be a good thing because it allowed me to add color while keeping the main illustration B&W.

Same technique as before. A scanned piece of chip board as the mid-tone from which all the highlights and shadow work could interact.

!!!! I read this comic at Borders the other day [because I <3 deadpool], looked on the cover, and prayed that it was made by someone on deviantart. Prayers have been answered (: Your other covers for Deadpool comics are amazing! Keep up the awesome work

Oh and just so's I ain't lumped in with the 17-year olds, I DO get the reference. I get it like I get my framed photos of Basil Rathbone. I just prefer Rorschach to Bogart. Bogey ain't a walking Steve Ditko reference.

Just the fact that you know Steve Ditko beyond Spider-man makes you awesome.

The fact that you know Ditko at ALL makes YOU awesome. Too many of the artists I hang with can't remember further back than 1985. I get blank stares whenever I try to talk about Frank Giacoia. But they do know EVERY little thing about anime... a japanese word that I think loosely translates as "stop bathing and buy a sword."

You know I don't know anything about Dead pool I've always been a Punisher and wolverine fan, but this is a brilliant cover I love the 1930's noir style the tones and simple colors are too cool you always do such great cover work and some times I get a wonderland feel to your work but then again maybe that's just the brink of insanity.

Great job if this was at the bar this round would be on me.
