This was not meant to be anything but a sketch, it still is a bit unfinished here and there. My second attempt at drawing Sherlock Holmes - not terribly much better than the last one but hey, I'm getting there..Here he is doing tricks for some of the Baker Street Irregulars and one certain Inspector from the Yard. I started by sketching the Inspector (Lestrade of course) and the rest sort of just happened around it.

No it wasn't actually, this just came about from what I thought Holmes would do to entertain kids. Plus I wanted to draw Lestrade.

I knew that was Lestrade!!! This is awesome, I love how it shows both Holmes' kindness to the irregulars, but also Lestrade's quiet admiration of Holmes. You have several layers of meaning going on. It's lovely.
