Behind this image;; Originally made for a request at Surreal Studios , I decided to keep the image for submission on here. Lots of details were lost in the resizing, so you can't see much of the originally drawn mane and tail. I'm slowly getting to grips with my tablet, so don't judge it too harshly.
I've been slacking with my thankyous for everyone who has [over the last two to three months] favs my work or watched me. I apologise for this, and at this moment in time, really can't reply to you all. I do, however, intend to thank you all personally, just forgive me for it being alittle slow >_<

Slightly miffed about a situation at work that I don't find very amusing, its too complicated to try and explain here, but I don't understand why society can't step out of the dark ages! Basically, the long and the short of it is, I have been singled out for being single. There is this party at work on the 4th of July, and a notice was put up about it, being up for anything, i signed up and put my best friends name up too... Apparently [even though there was nothing on the poster about it *and they conveniently added it afterwards*] its for ' partners' only. Meaning, if you don't have a partner, you have to go alone! Singling out the single people. How tempted was I to say that I was gay! ¬_¬ Grr.
All the same, I'm not going out of principle, but really... gahh! Sorry, just enjoy the image! <3

... your stock was one of three different references and wasn't used in its entirety at all. You have no right to report a deviation because someone didn't tell you that they ref'd legs from your photo (probably very loosely) along with two others.

This is beautiful. I really love the colors [as always, you have the best eye for color when it comes to manips and such.] Your manips are just..inspiring, and this one is absolutely amazing. It looks so peaceful, I wish I could escape to there right now. :c I really love the mane and tail on that horse, and the stripes on the legs looks REALLY cool.

You believe you're failing with your artwork, but then, through that emotion, and the hatred of being singled out and prejudiced, you have created something utterly amazing. This, this is what I love about your art. It doesn't have to be your technically best piece, but the life that courses through this is humbling. The feeling of rejection, loneliness, sadness and the underlying anger just shouts out at me. The image, as I've said, seems to shiver with feeling, and I feel sad and angry myself just looking at it. I can see that you feel you aren't as good as you were, but the technical details aren't everything. Here, you demonstrate this in a breathtaking way.
The art that breathes takes all breath from my lungs. Only you can do this.

'Nough said, I do think, but I have to say the things that really captured my eye about this are the colours. They're so vivid and different - it really makes this piece special! Plus, the stripes on the horses legs are such a nice touch.
