Here she is. My Ex least favorite pony which I hated whole first season and liked her more and more later on
This piece took me some time because I never even tried to paint a snow and have to learn it here. The biggest problem here is the carousel boutique because it was a pain with lots of small accents and it is round.
There was some moment when I stuck because everything had to be covered by snow and to be honest - there's not much stuff surrounding Rariti's boutique. It's hard to make round building look good but I guess creators tried hard.

Showcasing the warmth in what would otherwise just be frozen winter scene feel warm isn't an easy thing to do and you pulled it off magnificently. Every light source, even the functional ones, almost feel like decorations. Your work with ponies reminds me a lot of what Thomas Kinkade was doing for Disney late in his career. You capture the sense of majesty that is always hinted at, but can't really be described in the simplistic nature of Flash-style animation.

This is very nice.Β Did you get the inspiration from the classic Currier and Ives lithographs?Β It definitely has that feel to it, along with Thomas Kinkade.Β I could quite easily see this being the cover of a Christmas card.Β Perhaps a set of cards with different ponies in different similar settings.

Strangely, Rarity has been my favorite pony since the get go, probably because she's so flawed. She's the most prone to weakness out of the mane six, and I feel that, in a way, that really makes her more "human". I think it was when I saw the Sisterhooves Social episode though that I officially dubbed her 'best pony'.
I really love all of the detail in the background! The ponies skating, the play of light and shadow on the ice, this picture just stands out as amazing. Keep up the great work! ^___^

For me there is no need to be generous with comments,,,,,,,,, I will just be honest... ITS REALLY GOOD lol. Β If doesn't look like your first time painting snow. Because the snow is really good, including the prints in the snow. Β I love the light and shadows especially on your characters. I don't think even the horse art haters can find anything to hate on this one. I love your tree too. The scene is fantastic. Great work!!! I wish I could paint like this.
