I've been attempting to get designs for a very big project done recently, starting with getting color schemes figured out. Much of it is still a work in progress so I can't say anything to avoid spoilers. I can say that these guys all come from the same pride and that this is infact me attempting to peg down said color schemes for the pride as a whole.I think it works, was going for duller color scheme, grey browns with little to no outstanding features on the pelt. They will all likely have varying shades of brown eye color, usually hazel in color.
On a side note, I think the top fellow looks like Marik Ishtar from the Yugioh series: I knew I shouldn't have watched Yugioh Abridged while working on this. XD
Anyway, how about you peeps. Your thoughts?

Hahahah, Marik-lion! I love the comparison XD Though if the lion would really look like Marik, it would have been a more chocolate-y olive-y brown, and not so dulled

They are funny enough have a VERY distant relation to the outlander line. Emphasis on distant.

Same. I started the GX one but eventually my interest just left as the series continued.
I did attempt to watch the Yusei series but it was way too serious for my liking.

I would have loved it if it didn't involve cards. I liked the serious tone, but I didn't care for playing cards to get out of whatever. The author should have taken the chance to chose another topic of fighting and whatnot.

Well that's the problem, the cards are what's connected back to the original series. They wouldn' be able to put in the "Yu-Gi-Oh" title with it otherwise. Though they could have taken inspiration from the original manga were the main protagonist plays "shadow games" but involve playing a variety of games outside of card related ones.
