Until I expanded I thought it was a photo OMG this has to be refed it's just too perfect. I do love Hedwig it's a shame about her dying so young it's a sweet tribute to a great owl.
I can't call this original though because alot of people draw her BUT mostly it's on the job so she's not confused w/ a wild owl, which she could be here.
Technique IDK about anyone else but I say it's flawless.
Impact as I said above it is so perfect I thought it was a photo at 1st & I love this piece.

This is a wonderful piece of art that brings the warmth of Winter (if I can say that).
I love the shading and the fact that you were able to make this owl look like it's alive.
I think you chose the colors well. I love the enphazis you put around the eyes. It almost feels like we can touch it. It feels like it's alive somehow, I love that. And the eyes really stand out, I think they are very intense, showing it's predatory senses and awarness.
I don't know what you had in mind when drawing it but it would be great if you could give more detail in the wings, not that's bad though, it's just a suggestion.
All in all, I think you did a marvellous job! Congratulations!

I think that, that picture is beatutifully created, oops excuse me, BORN! The snowy backround perfectly mixes with the feathers, an it brings out its myesteriously yellow eyes. It is also very neat and clean not a line out of place. All out i think if i had a premimum membership i would give it

everything seems really blurred, except the eyes which is understandable.
but,
it's a bit unusual the way the little feathers are standing out around the eyes, they're not important & everything else is blurred...
anyway, it's excelente! you're far better than i am.

this is lovely! To properly critique this art, I would have to know your intent of style. So for a critique- I am going to assume you want realism. If yo want realism, you need sharper details for both the snow in the foreground and the trees in the back ground. Shapes and composition are fine. I hate typing so excuse any crap after this line. Color is OK, I would think you would add some liught blue to they sky to avoaid teh whiteout effect. watch your light and shadows and directionality. Overall, this will make a lovely Xmas card.
