AS Coursework.2913
Small acrylic painting of a dove - based on a photo but mostly made up. For my Backyard portfolio.
Acrylic on canvas with fineliner pen (NEVER use fineliner on canvas! It will destroy the pen! Hee hee - whoops)

I know that writing holds a lot of how the writer feels deep down inside. Even the artist side of you shows so much heart and love for many things and of life.

I'm glad you can see that in my art! I should be reminded more often that I DO love a lot of things in life. It can be so much easier sometimes to focus on all the crap thats gone down, so thanks for pointing out the good thats kept me going

I'm happy that I could tell you how it effects me as a fellow artist and that I can say that I can relate and would not however say that I understand, what you are going through or have gone through because I am not you. How life effects us all is such an individual experiance.
Keep up the great art work. I have learned that I am not a popular artist on this site and I don't really care to be either. I just popped open my many boxes of art last year and started to share it all because other wise it never would have been seen except by me and rarely my family see's it because of their views and thoughts about my art work on many levels. Art is an expression of the heart and soul of our many emotions and experiences through out our lives. I can't imagine my life without it. It has helped me get through a lot of things in my life. I'm sure you could say the same as it is very evident in your writing and your art work. I am full of encouragement when comes to lifes ups and downs and also to other artist as well (excuse me for tooting my own horn).

Well I used that technique for my final piece and some experimentation leading up to that... but right now? No... I don't really paint unless I'm doing a project or something, and right now after manic art coursework I am just wanting a break! This is by no means the end though - next I am thinking of studying Luke Chuh's style and experimenting with paintings that contain a message... but not till summer!
By inking, do you mean etching? Or indian ink? Or fineliner?

I ink with a fineliner. The trick for me is learning not to overdo it. less is more.
