This endboss really scared me.Giygas already looks disturbing normally...but its second form freaks me out. It looks like an unborn human baby, that makes it scary enough. But the craziest thing is that it was formed from a traumatic childhood experience of Shigesato Itoi. When he was a little child he saw a rape scene in a movie, he poured all his fear into this boss.
All this makes Giygas to my favorite endboss and probably the scariest endboss in the video game history.

I assume that you've played those kinds of games before, huh?
The games that I'm playing with that genre is Strikers 1945 III (or Strikers 1999 in Japan) & R-Type Delta
Compared to Gradius & R-Type, (recognize those 2?) I prefer R-Type since you can use the Force to cover you

No offense, I haven't played the game where this boss is in. But when I first saw it, I thought "ok? What the heck is that?" but maybe it's different if I would play the game. But I'd rather not want to find out
The scariest things that I've expierienced in a game were the "zombies" and "mummies" on Ocarina of Time. The screams before they start moving, and the way they attack were the scariest. But the moaning was barely scary
