Really a good pose, nice guard! Are you member of a special group who practice medieval fighting techniques?Β

I played with the royal danish theater in a Robin Hood show, in a national forest - and I really miss the medieval atmosphere and the swords and shields bashing together in epic battles.. Β

Also, where did you get the sword from, and can anyone order it, it seems to be good quality compared to replicas I've found so far on various websites

Anyway, great shot and really well made outfit! gonna +Watch you

Hi there. The man in the photo is my friend who was a fencer for many years. We do practice medieval fighting techniques and follow 'Talhoffer' mostly. (Although I'm rubbish at it. Give me a spear or sword and shield, but you may keep the two-handed sword )

I can totally understand missing the clamor and glamour of swords swung, shields bashed and spears shaken! Harrg!

The sword is a replica of a 15th century Gothic German sword. You can find all about it here:
www.sword-buyers-guide.com/ger…

It's from Darksword Armory and very, very beautiful.Β

oh thanks a lot for the link! Very helpful

I wish I knew people who were as much into this as I am, guess I have to just practice in my backyard And yes give me a two-handed sword!, that's what I used to practice with^^ Or a recurve bow But really, any kind of weapon fits me, because I enjoy differing my technique so I can adapt to new situations

Yaarrrr! I wanna charge some shield walls

Thanks again on the info on the sword, I'll look it up - would really love to get one of those Keep up the good work and practice, goes for your friend too, it looks really good
