Whee, I love this style. She's more realistic than I intended (and I started drawing her with the intent to make her a neko O_o) and not as cute as I wished, but I like it nonetheless, because she's positively SHINY.Lesson learned, BMG's outfit is one hell of a thing to draw. X_x!
Oh yeah, the katakana on the left reads "Burakku Majishan Gaaru" which is BMG's Japanese name, seeing as I do not know her true name in kanji. o_o;;

ooh. i love it ^_^ I'm a bit too tired right now to critique, and I don't want it to seem like I don't like the picture or something >_>; (I'm faving it I tihnk it rocks so much XD) but yeah, the only thing i really found a bit off was the hand and someone else posted about that.. and uh, I'm tihnking you left off a small "tsu" for the kku part of burakku

XP The first part you have right about the katakana, but the second part it could be either the line kana or the a katakana, because the line signals to repeat the vowel sound of the previous kana, so essentially it's the same thing. But yeah, I really screwed the gems/outfit up XD and you know me and hands so yeah.

well, I know the - repeats the vowel, i know i know, but it just usually I've seen that for the "r" thing in most the pokemon names and other various katakana

I don't think there's a kanji version of the character. I did a quick flip over to the Yugioh TV page and found the written name is entirely katakana. It's a little off when comparing so here's the pop-up page with a decent picture of her.
