done exclusively in india ink with a brush, i don't think i should have put in the text, but it's a tad too late. i think i'm starting to nail down that style.

I think i should have tried out the grayscale scan and upped the contrast just enough to catch more of the grays in the brush strokes, but ithink it looks okay enough.

i have had various discussions (short) with my friends on who the manliest man is in gaming, they seem to think it's captain falcon, now don't get me wrong i am an avid f-zero fan (especially the music), but real men don't wear purple bright red and gold, real men have facial hair, chain smoke, fight psychics, mediums, mechas, puppet masters, crazy inuit armed with chain guns, bullet deflecting women, vampires, more than talented snipers, fat sea gull obsessed bomb addicts etc.

case and point. solid snake is the man, what did captian falcon do? win the f-zero grand prix? does he have cute red heads with major temper problems chasing after him? no. does he weild awesome weapons? get to drive metal gears? no. does he have character development? no. the man only shows half his face out of shame! he also didn't save the world several times, he doesn't look BA 24/7. the man punches and flames come out, tied with the flamboyant way he dresses, what kind of signals does that send you?

the only real contenders for the title are all (strangely) from the MGS series Big Boss, Revolver Ocelot, Liquid Snake, Vamp...

i have played all the f-zero games (even the first one), and they come nowhere near to being as good as the metal gears. has f-zero been around for over twenty years? no.

snake wins, as always.
