Description
After the archaeological discovery of the sacred Vials of Dragon Blood the nation of Ithanka has led an impassioned campaign to breed what was originally thought to be the mythical Dragon Soldiers of its ancient epics. The nation was an oppressive patriarchy, all scientific tests to rebirth the soldiers were done on men. This left all men fatally poisoned by the vials of blood. The government hid this from the public and lied to them that the experiments were successful. They glued scales to the skins of high ranking officials to consolidate their power that they were the chosen nation of ancient tales.
All invasions made to expand the borders into neighboring nations were failing dramatically, often fizzling before they could even reach the front. It was becoming clear that the Dragon Soldiers were not what they seemed to be.

The histories of the warriors being women, and that the Empire was matriarchal had long been suppressed by the dictatorship. But to a few scientists conducting the experiments knew better. The infection finally took, the eyes glowed, and so the Dragon Empire has been reborn, for better or for worse.
