Description I was inspired by Mexican murals on a trip to Arizona, and reading Subcomondante Marcos.

An inspiring leader who tried to help those who had the least, and doing so with honour and dignity. He and Villa were murdered but never died. I do not deify Zapata, the rays of light represent a story of a god of light and dark (Ik'al and Votan) that can not move without the help of the other, doing so brings it joy and progress. The water represents the story of the sword and the water, though it can be struck it is not injured and instead wears away at the blade of the sword. The corn stalks represent the importance of land, and the crop that fueled Native Americans.
